France defender William Gallas suffered minor scratches after crashing his buggy in a race with teammates as part of Les Bleus training.

Widespread reports said the 32-year-old's buggy rolled on its left side during a team-bonding exercise in the French Alpine resort of Tignes.

Curiously, Gallas is a already nursing a calf injury but looks likely to be fit for France's World Cup opener against Uruguay on June 11th.

The Arsenal center-half was the one who scored the goal that sent France to the South Africa finals; a dubious extra-time strike against Ireland in November.
