Spain manager Vicente del Bosque has decided to ban his World Cup squad from using social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.
A Spanish football federation (www.rfef.es) spokeswoman said that Del Bosque warned his players of using the sites as the team gathered to begin training for the South Africa finals.
The reigning European champions will spend the week in Madrid then head to Austria to play warm-up games with Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
Las Rosas then host Poland in Murcia before leaving for South Africa, where they open their World Cup against Switzerland in Durban on June 16th.
