"We told Zamalek that we want to sign Abdul-Monsef," spokesman of Gouna's football team Ahmed Al-Sohaifi told FilGoal.com.

"We didn't plan to agree a part-exchange deal but they insist on landing two of our players in return for Abdul-Monsef, apart from the transfer fee we will pay.

"Zamalek want to acquire Ahmed Omran and are yet to name the second player. He will either be Hussein Ali or Nour Al-Sayed."

The negotiations between both clubs will be continued on Monday and the deal is expected to be completed very soon.
