ENPPI football director Alaa Abdul-Sadek refuted reports claiming that the petroleum side were seeking to sign Petrojet striker Eric Bekoe in the summer.

Petrojet have transfer-listed their last-season top scorer Bekoe and put a hefty EGP seven-million price tag on his head.

"There is no room for foreign players in our squad because we already have (non-Egyptian) trio Vincent Die Foneye, Zeka Goore and Mano," Abdul-Sadek told FilGoal.com.

"We don't plan to offload any of the three players, so we won't sign Bekoe."

The rules of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) stipulate that each team are entitled to have only three expatriates in their squad.

ENPPI have just landed Walid Soliman and Mohamed Shabaan from Petrojet.
