Football lovers in Egypt, UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were frustrated during Friday's match as TV screens repeatedly blackout for several minutes.

Al-Jazeera Sport, the World Cup official broadcaster in the Middle East, made it loud and clear that NileSat is responsible for the unforeseen problem, saying firm actions will taken against the culprits.

The space channel also advised its viewers to switch to ArabSat for stable transmission.

Later on, Al-Jazeera decided to file a lawsuit against NileSat.

Moral Code

On the other hand, NileSat categorically denied being involved in the broadcasting setback.

"We have a moral code and it doesn't allow such unethical conducts," company chairman Ahmed Anis told FilFan.com.

"Al-Jazeera's accusations are totally inappropriate."
