Ismaili have begun their rebuilding process by releasing foreign trio Mohamed Selliti, Xhevahir Sukaj and Abdoulaye Coulibaly.

The three strikers failed to make any impact in Ismaili's disappointing Egyptian Premier League and Cup campaigns last season.

Albanian Sukaj and Ivorian Coulibaly joined the Dervishes in the January transfer window but could only make a handful of disappointing appearances.

Tunisian striker Selliti arrived in the summer of 2009 but played a bit-part role despite the team's shortage of options upfront.

Ismaili, who are suffering from persistent financial problems, have yet to sign any new players in the summer transfer window.

Their new coach Mark Wotte said he needed time to identify his targets for next season.

Ismaili, who won the last of their three league titles in 2002, finished third last term to book a place in the African Confederation Cup.

They exited the Egyptian Cup after at the hands of eventual winners Harras Hodoud in the semi final.
