Ismaili dispensed with defender Ayman Ramadan for being completely out of form but the 31-year-old feels bitter about his elimination.

Mark Wotte, who has just taken charge of the Dervishes, put his players through their paces over the past couple of days.

Ramadan, who's notably overweight, was disappointing in terms of fitness and physicality, which prompted the Dutch coach to get rid of him.

"I took part in only one training session under Wotte, before I was told over the phone that I have been offloaded," the 31-year-old told FilGoal.com.

"Last season I took part in 85% of Ismaili's games, and this is how they rewarded me for my efforts!

"It's not the first time to receive this kind of treatment from them."

The experienced center-back came through Ismaili's youth system. He left the coastal side four years ago to join Masri on a free transfer.

Ramadan then moved to Petrojet, where he was quite consistent in the 2008-2009 season, before returning to Ismaili last summer.

"I'm not going to retire. I will join another team and prove my worth," he concluded.
