Affum, 24, has been handed a trial in Ismailia at the beginning of the week, ahead of a potential transfer from Hearts of Oak.

The Ghanaian striker was supposed to take part of Wednesday's friendly with Wadi Degla as manager Mark Wotte wanted to watch him in more action.

But Affum refused to be put under test for that long, claiming he is a 'well-known player, not a youngster'.

While Ismaili are in dire need for a striker, the Affum deal seems to be up in the air in the meantime.
