Meteb unveiled as Standard's no.10

The 27-year-old, who moved on a free transfer from Ahli, is finally set to commence his new adventure, following protracted talks with Standard.

Meteb was handed the 10 jersey, the same number he usually has on the back of his Egypt shirt.

Standard, who finished seventh in the Belgian league last term, will open their new season against Zulte Waregem on Friday.
