A late howler from Liverpool goalie Pepe Reina prevented the Reds from beating Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday and ended the Premier League game in a 1-1 draw.
The hosts took the lead on 47 minutes when French striker David N'Gog beat his marker to hit the roof of the net from close range.
Liverpool's slender lead was cancelled out in the last minute when Reina awkwardly palmed a Tomas Rosicky cross into his own net.
Ironically, Arsenal sought to land Reina this summer.
Liverpool played half of the match with a man down as Joe Cole got a straight red card on the stroke of half-time for a harsh challenge.
Arsenal's newly-signed defender Laurent Koscielny received his marching orders in the dying minutes too.
