The new home jersey is quite similar to the Cairo side's old one, with two horizontal red lines near the middle of the torso. It also has a grey spot on each shoulder.

"Board member (and former Zamalek star) Hazem Emam was the one who suggested adding the grey color to the shirt," Egypt goalie Al-Sayed said.

The away kit is all grey.

Club World Cup

During the conference, Zamalek tactician Hassan referred that he's aiming to help the Whites qualify for the Club World Cup this season.

"I am glad that Adidas designed our kits," he said. "I hope it produce another one for Zamalek when they reach the upcoming Club World Cup.

"It was very important to us to have a new shirt, because the team must keep up with the biggest clubs in the world in all aspects."
