Military Production playmaker Momen Zakaria said Cairo duo Ahli and Zamalek have contacted him over a possible move next season.

"Zamalek football director Ibrahim Hassan and some Ahli officials talked with me over a possible deal," Zakaria told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.

"I did not sign any deal with any of them, I'm still considering my options. No decision has been taken yet."

Zakaria came through the youth ranks of Ahli before joining Production in the summer of 2008.

The 22-year-old produced some fine displays with the club, who finished seventh in the Egyptian Premier League last season.

"Production want to sign me on an improved contract, they want to prolong it for two years," Zakaria, whose deal runs out next summer, added.

"But I'm yet to make up my mind. I will take a decision over my future in the next few days."

Ahli's current squad boasts several attacking midfielders, including stars Mohamed Abou-Treika, Mohamed Barakat and Geddo.

Zamalek rely on Shikabala and Qatari winger Hussein Yasser to feed the strikers.
