Zamalek defender Amr Al-Safti is doubtful for Gouna on Monday because of injury.

Al-Safti suffers pelvic pain that kept him on the sidelines during Zamalek's friendly 4-0 victory over second-division side Al-Minya.

"He will have scans to assess the injury and whether he will be ready on Monday," Zamalek doctor Mostafa Al-Monairy said.

Al-Safti's injury could give new-signing Mohamed Younes his debut with Zamalek.

The former Telecom Egypt player has only made the bench during the past three matches.

Also, veteran defender Hani Saied could replace Al-Safti, especially after he impressed as a center-back in a four-man backline.

Saied, who initially plays as a sweeper, was dropped from Zamalek's starting line-up since Hossam Hassan took charge last season after the coach adopted a 4-4-2 formation.
