Ismaili midfielder Amr Al-Sulaya is set to be sidelined for three weeks with a knee injury sustained in Friday's Champions League defeat at JS Kabylie.
After bowing out of the continental competition, the Dervishes received another blow with the injury of their young star.
Al-Sulaya, 20, has been a key figure for Mark Wotte's team so far this season, which earned him a first Egypt call-up this month.
The promising midfielder made his Egypt debut against Sierra Leone last week, coming on as a second-half substitute in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers 1-1 draw.
He is now set to miss Ismaili's final group stage game against Ahli on September the 19th.
