Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini responded sarcastically to reports claiming that he was involved in an altercation with striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
It was reported that Mancini was infuriated because he thought that the towering marksman had been feigning the severity of his injury.
However, the Italian tactician laughed off any suggestion of a fight with Adebayor, who has just made three appearances for City so far this season.
"We fought in the dressing room for an hour!" joked Mancini after Sunday's 2-0 success at Wigan.
"I won because I don't have any scars. It was nothing."
Adebayor missed last weekend's home draw with Blackburn Rovers due to a leg injury and was also ruled out of wins over Red Bull Salzburg and Wigan Athletic.
