Brazil made it two wins out of two under new coach Mano Menezes after beating Iran 3-0 in a friendly in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Barcelona full-back Daniel Alves opened the scoring with a superb free kick on the quarter-hour mark.

Alexandre Pato doubled Brazil's advantage midway through the second half after latching onto a pass from Elias.

Substitute Nilmar added the third in stoppage time when he turned in a cross by Andre Santos.

"We play happily under the guidance of Menezes," Milan forward Pato told Dubai Sports after the game.

"We are not used to playing in this hot weather but we produced a fine display."

Menezes replaced Dunga following Brazil's quarter-final exit at the World Cup at the hands of eventual runners-up Holland.
