Under Capello, the Three Lions easily reached the 2010 World Cup but the credentials of the Italian tactician were questioned following his team's substandard displays in South Africa.

The FA decided to keep hold of him but the 64-year-old stated that he will step down from his England role after Euro 2012.

"At the moment I think of nothing else but Euro 2012 with England," Capello said.

"Unfortunately I am old, I no longer have the time; this will be my last experience on the bench."

Capello has been England's boss since 2008. He took charge of AC Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and Juventus throughout his career.
