"I'm looking to bolster the frontline in January," MCDR coach Tarek Yehia told Egyptian Radio. "Osama Hosni is a good hitman and we want him within our ranks.

"A tangible offer for him is yet to be tabled. I have already contacted people close to the player, and they told me that he's good to go."

Osama, who came from the Ahli's youth system, repeatedly complained from lack of first-team opportunities over the past couple of seasons, thanks to a succession of injuries.

Yehia also assured that striker Ayman Hefni, who's targeted by Ahli and Zamalek, will stay at MCDR for the remainder of the season.
