The combative striker has been out of action since October 14th when he injured his knee during a friendly meeting against lower division side Shams.
Al-Monayeri stated on Friday that Zaki was 'ready to return to action', and yet; the 27-year-old once again felt pain in his knee, which forced him out of the pitch in Monday's training session.
Zamalek boss Hossam Hassan eventually agreed with Al-Monayeri that Zaki will be sidelined for another while.
The robust marksman, who was supposed to stay out only for two weeks, is now expected to make his comeback against Ismaili on November 10th.
"I'm really sad that I won't participate in the Gaish game," Zaki told FilGoal.com. "But I believe that my teammates are capable of keeping the team on top (of the league table)."
Zamalek are taking the lead with 17 points, two ahead of closest rivals Police Union.
