Hamza Al-Gamal became the second manager to be fired by Arab Contractors in less than 10 weeks, the Cairo club said.

Al-Gamal has been in charge of the Wolves since August, taking over from Mohamed Amer, who was sacked after just one match.

The former Egypt defender managed two victories in nine games with the team, who were beaten at newly-promoted MCDR last week.

The defeat left the one-time league champions second from bottom with eight points from ten games.

"I have utmost respect for the Contractors board," said Al-Gamal, who ended his first top-flight experience.

"I spent a good time here and I wish the next manager good luck."

FilGoal.com has learnt that the Cairo club are on the verge of hiring a French coach, who will be assisted by former Ahli midfielder Khaled Gadallah.
