Egypt U-17 coach Mohamed Omar revealed that he had prevented his men from wearing loose-fitting trousers, saying players who represent their country mustn't expose their boxer shorts.

"In general, I find it difficult to deal with juveniles because of their young age," he told Dream TV.

"Their mentality is way different than adults and they should receive a certain kind of treatment."

Speaking of teenagers' habits, Omar said: "At this age, they tend to expose their underwear, their boxer shorts I mean.

"All my players used to put on loose-fitting pants, but not anymore. It's prohibited now.

"It's uncivilized and inappropriate, especially that they represent their country."

Egypt U-17 have recently qualified for the Nations Cup, which takes place in Rwanda next year.
