Zamelek coach Hossam Hassan rejoiced in Sunday's 1-0 league win over Masri, which was sealed by a sensational winner from youngster Mohamed Ibrahim deep into injury time.

The pacey 18-year-old midfielder, who was introduced six minutes from the hour-mark, broke the deadlock with a well-placed shot after feinting past a challenger and eluding another in the 94th minute.

The Whites are now the league leaders with 24 points, six clear of closest rivals Ahli who lost 3-1 at Ismaili earlier on Sunday.

"The victory is really precious because it's a last-gasp one," he told the post-match press conference.

"We were better and deserved to win. A lot of clear-cut chances were squandered over both periods."
