Zamalek will be without midfielder Alaa Ali for three weeks after he picked up a hamstring injury in Sunday's win over Masri.

The 22-year-old was forced out of the 1-0 victory at half time, making way for winger Hazem Emam.

"Alaa suffered a hamstring strain and will be out for about three weeks," Zamalek doctor Mostafa Al-Monayeri said.

"Ahmed Gaafar has also twisted his ankle, but should be fit for our next game (with Ittihad on December 4)."

Al-Monayeri admitted that Egypt duo Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed and Shikabala played the Masri game through pain, due to old injuries.

Most valuable

Meanwhile, match-winner Mohamed Ibrahim is over the moon with his stoppage time sensation.

"I won the praise of the manager and the fans in recent games, but scoring goals is something different," the 18-year-old told FilGoal.com.

"It made the fans very happy, so this is surely the most valuable goal I had ever scored."

Apart from its importance, Ibrahim's superb solo effort will be a strong contender for goal of the season as well.
