Ajax striker Luis Suarez is facing a seven-match Eredivisie ban after being charged with violent behavior for biting an opponent, giving Mido more room for first team football.

The Dutch federation made a proposal for Ajax, who fined the Uruguayan and suspended him for two games this week.

Should the Dutch champions fail to react to the proposal, the case will be discussed at a disciplinary hearing on Thursday.

Suarez, known for his infamous handball in the World Cup match with Ghana, got way with his act as the match referee didn’t spot him biting PSV's Otman Bakkal.

The 23-year-old is a first-choice striker for manager Martin Jol, along with Morocco ace Mounir Al-Hamdaoui; currently the league's top scorer.

Egyptian Mido is usually used as a backup for the duo as he plays week-in week-out for the Jol's side.

Hannibal Suarez !
