Ahli transfer guru Adli Al-Qaeyi revealed on Tuesday that signing Flavio on loan is an option for the Cairo club this January, especially with Shabab’s willingness to send him out on a short-term deal.

But agent Nader Shawki played down the notion, even with the striker’s readiness to make the move back to the club where he shone.

“Flavio’s return to Ahli is impossible,” the 30-year-old’s agent told FilGoal.com.

“Shabab paid a large fee to Ahli when they signed him and will normally ask for an amount that Ahli cannot afford.

“His salary is also too much for Ahli to cover.”

Flavio, who has just returned from a long-term knee injury, joined the Saudi club from Ahli in 2009 for a fee of 2.75million Euros.
