ENPPI striker Ahmed Abdul-Zaher said he's not concerned to be named the Egyptian Premier League top scorer.

Upon scoring in the 3-2 win over Military Production, Abdul-Zaher took his scoring tally to eight goals to keep pace with joint top scorer Shikabala of Zamalek.

But the ENPPI star played down his competition with Shika for the personal accolade, saying that helping his team in their league campaign is a much more important objective to him.

"I'm really happy to be on top of the scorers list alongside Shikabala but that's not really my objective," he said after Friday's match.

"What I want is to help ENPPI win as much matches as possible to stay in contention for the league title.

"I'm satisfied with my club form. I think it's down to my call-up to Egypt's squad."

Abdul-Zaher was called up for the Pharaohs' 3-0 friendly win over Australia last month. He opened the scoring one minute from the half-hour mark.
