Harras Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri will not be able to instruct his players during next week's league game against Ahli after being handed a one-match touchline ban.

The Egyptian FA's competition committee sanctioned Al-Ashri for invading the pitch to protest against one of the referee's decisions during the 1-0 victory over Police Union last week.

The former Ittihad player was enraged by the referee's decision to award Police a penalty in stoppage time. The spot kick was saved as Hodoud claimed all three points, thanks a first-half goal from Egypt forward Ahmed Eid.

"Eid was also fined for his protests after Police were awarded a penalty," competition committee chief Amer Hussein told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.

The inconsistent Hodoud face another stuttering side in Ahli, who are facing an uphill climb to claim a seventh consecutive league title following a series of disappointing results.

The match will take place at Cairo Stadium on Tuesday.
