Mido has yet to play a single minute under new boss De Boer, who seems to be considering the Egyptian a fourth-choice striker.

“We will talk after returning from the holiday on January 4th. But I want to stay because of the fans,” said the 27-year-old.

The Dutch paper claims that Mido, who hasn’t played for Egypt in several months, had approached by Liga duo Deportivo Lacuruna and Espanyol, but the offers weren’t ‘financially attractive’.
