“Jose has the quality to build another golden generation for Ahli. I will be happy if he returns. The whole team is waiting for him,” said Meteb.

“He knew how to deal with us. We used to go into matches knowing the scenario of the game before it starts.

“He is smart, has a strong personality and can easily blend the squad members together.”

Meteb returned to Ahli after he put an end to a spell with Standard Liege before even kicking a ball for the Belgian side.

Knowing that his ‘dream’ of playing in Europe has taking a severe blow by his recent move, the 27-year-old said: “I am aware that the possibility of moving abroad will be affected by what happened in Standard.”
