Zamalek have added young goalkeeper Mostafa Abdul-Sattar to their CAF Champions League squad as their search for a backup to Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed continues.

Abdul-Sattar, 18, joins captain and first-choice keeper Abdul-Wahed in the African list, six days before the deadline on January 15th.

The Whites, however, are still looking for another backup keeper after the winter departure of Essam Al-Hadari to Merreikh of Sudan.

Manager Hossam Hassan handed Palestine goalkeeper Abdullah Saidawi a trial last week, but the latter failed to impress in training.

Meanwhile, new signings Ahmed Samir and Mohamed Aoudia have also been added to the Champions League roster.

Zamalek kickoff their continental campaign away to Kenya’s Ulinzi Stars on the 29th of January.
