Ayew, 22, joined Zamalek from Sekondi Eleven Wise in 2009, but has hardly been a regular for the Whites.

Despite being part of Ghana’s 23-man squad for the 2010 World Cup, the diminutive midfielder only played a few minutes for Zamalek under the management of Hossam Hassan this term.

Zamalek could now register new Algerian recruit Mohamed Aoudia to join foreigners Abou Kone and Emad Mohamed, who is out on loan at Iran’s Shahin Bushehr.
