Ismaili manager Mark Wotte is set to take action against starman Hosni Abd-Rabou due to the midfielder’s ‘lack of discipline’.

“The manager makes sure that everyone is fully committed in training, that’s why Abd-Rabou will train alone,” assistant coach Ahmed Qenawi told FilGoal.com without specifying the player’s controversial behavior.

“Hosni will be sanctioned for his lack of discipline according to the club’s regulations, which apply on young and experienced players alike.”

Abd-Rabou, who recently returned from a long-term knee injury, has yet to reach an agreement with Ismaili over a new contract as the Egypt international insists on a EGP 5M-a-year deal.

He runs out of contract by the end of the current season

Owoeri ready

Meanwhile, Ismaili new signing John Owoeri is now eligible to play in competitive matches after his International Transfer Certificate has arrived from Heartland.

“Manager Wotte was set to hand Owoeri a start against Petrojet, and I think the postponement of the game gives him a better chance to blend in with the players,” coach Qenawi added.

The Dervishes are also set to complete the signing of another foreign striker to join Owoeri and compatriot Godwin Ndubuisi as Ghanaian Prince Arkoh is on his way to Ismailia.
