English Championship outfit Hull City want to re-sign Amr Zaki by the end of the season and are also considering landing Egypt trio Shikabala, Emad Meteb and Ahmed Fathi.

Zamalek marksman Zaki spent a brief loan spell at Hull last year, during which he only made a handful of Premier League appearances and couldn't score any goals.

Hull, who were eventually relegated, are willing to give the well-built ace a second chance, according to club owner Assam Allam.

"We are interested in transferring Zaki back to Hull City in spite of the unsuccessful loan experience last season and I hope that he can appear in form soon," Allam, an Egyptian businessman, told Al-Ahram Portal.

On the possibility of signing Shikabala, Meteb and Fathi, Allam said: "We will discuss buying them with the coaching staff after we study their abilities.

"I love my country although I live in England and I will do my best to book places for its football talent in European leagues."

Assem and Ehab Allam completed their takeover of Hull midway through December.
