Egypt dropped two places in FIFA's monthly ranking for February to move down to 35th.

The Pharaohs slumped from 10th to 33rd spot in the previous ranking before moving down two more places.

Egypt didn't play any matches in February. Their last games were in January's Nile Basin tournament which was not accredited by FIFA.

The African champions should have faced USA in 9 February in Cairo but the friendly was canceled due to security worries following the Egyptian Revolution that toppled former president Hosni Mubarak.

Fifteen-placed Ghana remain the highest ranked African team while Ivory Coast lie 25th.

Egypt, the third highest African side, are still the top Arab team on the list.

World Cup winners Spain, runners-up Holland and third-placed Germany kept the first three places in the ranking respectively.
