South Africa skipper Steven Pienaar says he's ready to take part in Saturday's Nations Cup qualifier with Egypt at Ellis Park.

The Tottenham striker has been nursing a groin injury for a month and was doubtful for the crucial match.

But Pienaar assured he will feature in the clash, which he branded as South Africa's 'biggest game' after the 2010 World Cup.

"Of course it will be my first time captaining the team in an official game, but I think it will be the same as the last game (against Kenya)," he said

"I have been around the team a few years now and I will be myself. I think this is our biggest game but there is no pressure.

"We will go into the game 100% focused and we are aware it is a must that we get all the three points.

"After the World Cup this is our biggest game. So for us it is important that the three points stay in South Africa.

"For Egypt it is make or break. We must just make sure we don't lose or draw. As a player you want to win every game and being the captain of the team I don't want to lose."

African champions Egypt, who are languishing at the bottom of Group G on one point, need to beat leaders South Africa in order to revive their qualification hopes.
