Ismaili coach Mark Wotte is urging club-supporting businessmen to help the team get through its financial crisis.

The Dervishes are struggling with lack of funds and their problems increased after the January 25 Revolution; a dilemma which saw several players denied their wages.

“Where are the businessmen supporting the club?!” Dutchman Wotte told FilGoal.com.

“The financial issues are negatively affecting the team and the players need to have their wages paid in time.”

Ismaili’s financial crisis forced star midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou to express his willingness to leave the club at the end of the season if his demands were not met.

Meanwhile, defender Shadi Mohamed has been ruled out of the Confederation Cup tie with Sofapaka as he is still nursing a hamstring injury.
