Ali scores maiden goal in Saudi League

The Egypt international, who joined the Saudi giants on loan from Ismaili in the winter, was included in Hilal's starting line-up and put in an assured performance.

Ettifaq were up by two goals when Ali pulled one back on 22 minutes after diverting home a cross.

He set up Hilal's winner when he whipped in a cross that Saudi ace Yasser Al-Qahtani connected with to get his name on the score sheet.

Ali was replaced on 82 minutes and won an ovation on his way to the dugout.
