Ismaili and Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou will not be able to train for up to a month after suffering a minor facial fracture in the 4-0 Confederation Cup defeat at Sofapaka.

The 26-year-old was forced off in the first half, only for the Dervishes to concede four goals to the Kenyan minnows after the break.

“He had his cheekbone fractured and he has also suffered a mild concussion. Hosni will not be able to play matches or train before next month,” Ismaili doctor Magdi Al-Baz told FilGoal.com.

Abd-Rabou’s midfield partner Amr Al-Sulaya was also injured in the Sofapaka game, having been substituted at half time with an ankle injury.

According to doctor Al-Baz, the Egypt international will have a further scan but is unlikely to be fit before the end of May.
