The domestic league is set to resume after a two-and-a-half month layoff, amid major security fears in the wake of what happened in Zamalek’s Champions League game with Club Africain.

While he gets ready to return action after recovering from a long-term injury, Hassan sets his sights on the crucial next phase.

“If everyone inside the football field did his job, the league will be resumed in peace,” the Egypt skipper told FilGoal.com.

“Players, fans, managers and stewards must work hard. Media has to double its efforts in order to increase the awareness of people.

“Awareness is very important in the upcoming period.”
