Police took the lead when Mohamed Al-Fayoumi broke the deadlock on 27 minutes but Gomaa Mashhour brought the score level four minutes past the half-hour mark.

Al-Fayoumi fired his side back in front three minutes from the break but Kwabena Yaro once again canceled the visitors' lead on the stroke of halftime.

Ayman Saied sealed the win with an injury-time winner.

Police are now in third place on 33 goals, several goals ahead of league champions Ahli who moved back to fourth.
