Hilal held at Sepahan as Ali makes cameo appearance

The Egypt international, who joined Hilal on loan from Ismaili in the winter, was kept on the bench till he replaced Yasser Al-Qahtani on 73 minutes.

However, Ali couldn't snatch a winner for the Saudi giants.

The Dean took the lead right after the interval, thanks to a strike from Abdullah Al-Zori but the hosts' Moharram Navidkia brought the score level six minutes from the hour mark.

Hilal are now keeping pace with Sepahan, who are leading Group A on goal difference. Both teams are on ten points.
