Mido has been ineligible to play for Zamalek since making a move from Ajax in January due to a registration error in the wake of Egypt’s public revolution.

The Cairo club had an appeal turned down by FIFA last month and are now waiting for the verdict of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

While the ruling is unlikely to be in favor of the player, Zamalek urge the association to intervene.

“The FA are also responsible for the error with Zamalek. So they should do something about it,” Hassan told reporters on Thursday.

“I am asking Samir Zaher (FA chairman) to do something because the FA is responsible for the benefit of all clubs.’
