Ismaili's assistant coach Ahmed Kenawi says the Dervishes still have a chance to claim the league title, despite their goalless draw with MCDR on Sunday.
After the draw, Ismaili remained third on 39 points, seven behind leaders Zamalek who are tipped to claim the Egyptian Premier League trophy.
"The race is yet to be finished and we haven't been ruled out," Kenawi told FilGoal.com. "There are still eight matches to go.
"The players exerted huge efforts against MCDR and can't really say they eased up. They were unlucky though."
