Zamalek are to file a complaint against Yasser Mahmoud, who refereed the Whites' 1-0 league loss to MCDR, and demanded a match restart because of 'refereeing mistakes'.

Mahmoud didn't give Zamalek a penalty kick when MCDR striker Hussein Hamdi handled the ball in the area.

He also disallowed a Mohamed Abdul-Shafi goal through offside, although TV replays showed that the player was onside.

"This was so unfair, we will officially make a complaint to the Egyptian FA against the referee of the match," Zamalek chairman Galal Ibrahim told FilGoal.com.

"We will also call on the Egyptian FA to repeat the match. The refereeing mistakes are the reason why the game ended in that result.

"If the Egyptian FA didn't respond to us, we will consider withdrawing from the league."
