South Africa midfield star Siphiwe Tshabalala is relishing the prospect of playing against Egypt in Cairo, where he made his international debut five years ago.

"It's good to be back in the team once again. This match means a lot to me as I will be returning to the place where I made my international debut,” the 26-year-old told BuaNews.

"Back then I was a youngster, and I have grown in confidence and experience, and I am a lot wiser now.

"Victory is vital for us to stay top of the group. A draw will still suffice, but three points will be great.

"We have done very well up to this point, and we can't let it slip now. It would be great to help my teammates get another victory over Egypt.

"Our approach should be business-like, because they are fighting for their lives in the qualifiers, so nothing will come easy for us."

On his debut in January 2006, Tshabalala saw his side beat Hassan Shehata’s men 2-1 at Cairo Stadium, only for the latter to be crowned African champions the next month.

Egypt have no option but to win the game in order to avoid an unprecedented exit from the CAN 2012 qualifiers.
