“I have a wonderful relationship with Abou-Treika. They say I’m like his favorite son!” Sayoud told Algerian newspaper Elheddaf.

“He is an exceptional person and I think we’ve got a lot in common. He has faith in my ability.

“My relationship with all Ahli players is excellent. They are really great. They always do their best so that I don’t feel like a foreigner.”

Sayoud began to play some part in Manuel Jose’s roster this season, showing glimpses of his dazzling skills in a couple of matches.

But the 20-year-old playmaker was left out of Tuesday’s league clash with ENPPI after returning late from international duty.
