According to the Egyptian club’s website, a friendly game has been agreed with Atletico on Thursday November 10 as there will be no domestic fixtures for the latter at the equivalent week.

The decision comes after Zamalek failed in their bid to host Liverpool this month, despite a confirmation that the English side will come to Cairo.

The Atletico meeting comes two days after Zamalek’s league clash with Cairo rivals Police Union.
