Al-Wasl were inspired by another goalscoring performance from Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro, who scored his fifth goal in two games with the help of the in-form Shika.

After seeing his opener cancelled out by Nashaat Akram, Alfaro struck again when he steered home a deft pass from Shikabala, who eluded two defenders before setting up his teammate.

The goal was enough to keep Al-Wasl top, but a 60th minute equalizer from Habib Fardan leveled the scoring.

Apart from the assist, Shikabala had four attempts on goal but couldn't add to his tally with Al-Wasl.
