Tarek Yehia confirms he has left his post as MCDR manager to join Saudi league strugglers Hajr.

“I made my decision because of the unstable conditions in Egypt and the uncertain future of the league,” the former Zamalek star told FilGoal.com.

Yehia is regarded as one of the most highly-rated managers in Egypt, having made an impressive impact with Military Production and MCDR over the past three seasons.

He has been shortlisted as a possible candidate to replace former Egypt manager Hassan Shehata, before American Bob Bradley landed the job a year ago.

Yehia, 51, will be the second Egyptian manager in the Saudi league as his former Zamalek teammate Mohamed Salah is in charge of lowly Al-Shoalah.
