Al-Dreidi has only agreed a preliminary deal with Zamalek president Mortada Mansour, pending the approval of Zaki and Lokomotiv themselves, the source told FilGoal.com on condition of anonymity.

The source’s statements support the former Enppi star’s statement to FilGoal.com on Thursday that he has yet to complete his move to Zamalek and that the door is open for any club to sign him.

Mansour had announced earlier on Wednesday that Zamalek signed Zaki, with insider reports claiming that the deal exceeded 15-million EGP.

Zamalek’s bid for Zaki will probably face a stumbling block, given that their highest offer was 1.4-million Euros (10,6-million EGP), paid in three installments, while the Russains insisted on their 1.7-million Euros price-tag, the source added.

On the other hand, Ahli’s bid for the talented striker ended after Al-Dreidi felt uneasy about how club officials treated him and refused to allow him to meet with president Hassan Hamdi to negotiate a deal directly, the source indicated.

Nevertheless, Ahli revealed that the 1.7-million Euros asking-price for Zaki was over there heads.
